The Internal Revenue Service is returning $30-$60 to each person/household that paid for long distance phone service between March of 2003 and July of 2006. The amount you get back is based on your exemptions. $30 for one exemption, $40 for two, $50 for three, and $60 for four or more. The easiest is taking the standard amount, as you dont need to find old bills, and you only need to fill out one additional line on your regular 2006 return.
