Minneapolis

Wow, I’m happy to be back home beacuse the weather is sooooo nice. There is not a cloud in the sky, and its absolutely goregeous. I just came back from Minneapolis, where the weather wasnt so great, but at least it wasn’t snowing. It was pretty cold, but I ended up taking cabs everywhere, so it wasn’t that bad.

I stayed at The Marquette, which is a part of the Hilton chain. I had an executive room, but it wasn’t that special. The bed was okay, and the television was to the side, so I got a crooked neck quickly. The hotel is in the middle of downtown, and lots of shops surround it. Unfortuneatly, the downtown area shuts down pretty early, and there arent alot of restraunts to choose from. One day I was walking through the skyway system, and was amazed on how dead the place was. Shops were closed, and few people were walking through the system.

Crown Theatre was having a promotion on tickets, only $5 per ticket. I decided to see The Departed, to see how well it compared to Infernal Affairs. The movie was great, and I would recommend it to any suspense fans. Not all elements were copied from the original movie, and I enjoyed that the movie was more violet and had more deaths. I think I like the american version over the chinese version.

On another note, I think my next business trip isn’t for a while, so I can finally get back the home projects I’ve been working on. Stay tuned!
