Every year I enjoy seeing what the Tat Wong Kung Fu Academy will be doing for the San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade. This is the year of the rat, and about 25 kids, 25 teens, and 30 adults joined in the parade fun. Here are some of the pictures I took at the rehearsal. [...]

The last day also had many events, the main on being the International Kung Fu Quest competition. Other events included jiu-jitsu, judo, savate, and more tae kwan do. There were many competitors in the San Shou fights, and they were all exciting to watch. The rest of my pictures can be found on flickr.

The second day of the festival was just as packed with events as the first day. There was the Tiger Claw elite grand championship at the main stage, which drew a big crowd. I can still feel the energy from these kids when viewing the pictures. Scary huh? The Olympic style Tae Kwon Do [...]

Last Saturday, the Tat Wong Kung Fu Academy had its annual in-house tournament at Kezar Pavilion in San Francisco.
